They’re Fresh!

entrepreneur2 If you’re a client of Lift Development, you’ve probably received a nifty, emailed invoice.  These invoices are generated based on the exact hours I’ve worked on your project and each time entry usually gets inserted as it’s own detailed line item.  If you happen to forget to pay on time, after 30 days you receive an automatic (and friendly) email reminder to get you payment in on time.  Once you pay your invoice, you receive a notification that your account is now current and paid in full.  I have FreshBooks to thank for all of this.

Since branching off with Lift Development full-time at the start of last year, the one thing that I have NEVER had to worry about is my invoicing system.  I use FreshBooks to set up project estimates, track my time on existing projects, do my monthly invoicing, keep status on payments, and run reports for tax purposes at the end of the year.  Honestly, I have never even had to think about these things.

I’m a pretty big evangelist for these guys so I was happy to see that FreshBooks will be featured in this month’s Entrepreneur Magazine, one of my favorites.  Congrats to them and thanks for designing such a fantastic web-based invoicing system!
